Something I noticed a lot of in episode 3 of S-Town is marginalization. I found often times that Tyler was marginalized. He was a very big part of Johns life in every type of way. When John passed, many people often looked over Tyler. I found this to be very true with Johns relatives who came to town after he passed. When they came into town they wished for rights to John possessions, while not really considering all that Tyler had done for John. Throughout this process, John feels left out and short handed.
