The terms Foreground and Background have a good contrast in meaning. Foreground is what appears closest and most prominent to someone. Whereas, background is what appears remotest and most inconspicuous. These terms are related because they need each other to form a complete story. On the other hand, they are different because they have poplar opposite meanings. They work together nicely because when both sides are put into a text, it allows for there to be a more complex theme to a storyline!
