POPE- "CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES"

As a women, I took to the critical theory of Feminism. I think it is important for women to stand strong together and support each other in hopes of one day having complete equal opportunities that men have. Although, often times the word “feminism” has a negative connotation, I think it is important that the goal of feminism lies more along the lines of “equity” and not sovereignty. Although toxic masculinity has decreased in many workplaces and cultures, As a women, I think it is important to truly understand the meaning of being a feminist and how it can benefit our modern day culture.
